There was an aged artist who lived in a small village. The man used to design beautiful artistic works to be sold at an attractive price

One day, a poor man among the villagers challenged the old man saying: You earn a lot of money from your handiwork but why don’t you assist indigent people in the village?

Cant you see the butcher who is not as rich as you are, but still shares free meat to the destitute people in the village.
Also, look at the village baker, a poor man with a large family, yet he gives the poor people free loaves of bread.

The artist did not respond angrily to the challenges, rather just smiled .

The poor man was so confused about the reaction of the artist so he left him and went out spreading rumors that the artist was so rich, but he was a stingy person who only accumulated wealth and refused to help less privileged. The entire villagers took vengeance, they broke away from the old artist man and they all forsook him.

In a mean time, the aged artist was sick but nobody among the villagers cared to visit him, therefore he died a lonely man.

The days passed by, the villagers observed that the butcher stopped free distribution of meat and the baker could not give the destitute people free loaves of bread any more, despite their continuous trooping to the bakery and their hope to have something to eat.

When both (the butcher and the baker) were asked the reason behind the sudden cut off of the welfare to the villagers, they said that: ” the elderly artist who used to donate a large sum of money every month to share free meat and loaves of bread to the poor people in the village has died, so the welfare has to stop.”

Actually, many people may have wrong impression about you while others may have different opinions, none of them could benefit nor harm your good intention.

Therefore, don’t pass judgment on any one based on his physical appearance. There are things about his personal life, if you were privileged to know, your judgement would surely be different.

For example, a man died at nightspot/ dance hall.

The other person died in the mosque/Church.

The first person entered the dance hall with intention to preach to them (against indecency)

The second person entered the mosque/Church to steal money or bags.

For this reason, you and I can not decide who enters heaven nor who enters hell-fire. Fear God in privacy and fear God in the open. Human physical appearance is a deception, therefore, forgive, pardon and ignore people’s iniquities. Pray for God’s guidance on erring people. Be good to everybody, don’t cut off your relationship with a person who does not please you. Establish unity and harmony with people, God will love you and people will love you too. The Lord Who created the souls, knows what the souls conceals.

I found this story very insightful and I think I should share

We Need To Turn A Blind Eye For Peace

In live we come across stories that bring great morals and lessons for life.

Today’s story holds a great lesson for all.

A man married a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. Slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour.

While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was not any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much.

One day she died. Her death brought him great sorrow.

He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town.

A man from behind called and said, now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you.

He replied, I am not blind. I was acting, because if she knew l could see her ugliness it would have pained her more than her disease. So I pretended to be blind. She was a very good wife. I only wanted to keep her happy.

Moral:- Some times it is good for us to act blind and ignore one another’s short comings, in order to be happy

No matter how many times the teeth bite the tongue, they still stay together in one mouth. That’s the spirit of FORGIVENESS. Even though the eyes don’t see each other, they see things together, blink simultaneously and cry together. That’s UNITY.” May God grant us all the spirit of forgiveness and togetherness.

  1. ”Alone, I can ‘Say’ but together, we can ‘talk’.
  2. “Alone, I can ‘Enjoy’ but together, we can celebrate

  3. ‘Alone, I can ‘Smile’ but together, we can ‘Laugh’.

That’s the BEAUTY of Human Relations. We are nothing without each other

The razor blade is sharp but can’t cut a tree; the axe is strong but can’t cut the hair.

MORALS: Everyone is important according to his/her purpose. Never look down on anyone unless you are admiring their shoes.

IF YOU WANT TO BE RICH, DON’T GO TO SCHOOL. READ THIS ARTICLE INSTEAD…

eze

I saw this on the facebook timeline of a beloved friend and a brother who’s facebook page is full of inspiration and motivational. Chukwuemeka Michael Eze

IF YOU WANT TO BE RICH, DON’T GO TO SCHOOL. READ THIS ARTICLE INSTEAD…

The school does not teach people how to be rich. they only teach you how to work for others and earn wages. they make you into a banker, doctor, engineer, teacher and all those beautiful names such as you have as well.

And everyone who goes through the school system ends up working for the rich who own the establishments and corporations. most of them aren’t as educated. they have however, mastered the art of hiring the most educated and best professionals to work for them.

Does all aircraft owners know how to fly an aircraft? no! but they know how to hire the best of pilots who have been prepared by the school system to serve the rich, and get paid for their services. But the airline or aircraft owners make billions of dollars in profit from the hard work of the pilots and other employees they have to pay a few thousand dollars in wages, and salaries and one month of paid leave. hahahaha….

Was this why Robert Kiyosaki the author of the book “Rich dad, poor dad” wrote a book which he titled: “if you want to be rich, don’t go to school”?
He wasn’t telling people not to get educated, he was in essence stressing emphatically that the school is not a place to learn how to become rich.

What then makes people rich?
for me, I will say it is the ability to solve problems that makes people rich.
Money is a reward for problems solved or value created. Let’s say you have to get home from work, or you need to move from point A to Point B, you will sure look for a means to get to your destination.

Be it by bus, taxi, Uber or buying a Mercedes Benz Car. whoever solves this need, you will have to pay a commensurate value of money for services rendered, same applies for products sold to satisfy a need. likewise, if you have to help others solve their problems, you will get a monetary value in return which over time, accumulates into wealth.

Be it as it may, you do not get rich because you went to school, or because you speak eloquently, or can make good grammatical construction. No!
you get rich because you are able to solve problems by creating value.

Everyone has needs (problems) as well as monies allocated to solve these problems. (remember how you allocate your next salary even before pay day?)
yes that’s what I’m talking about.

Thus, whoever provides solutions for those needs receives all the monies allocated to solving those needs as an exchange or reward for products offered and services rendered.

Finally, you may want to think about a way to create value and solve problems in your society. it could be about food shortage, water supply, health, fashion, communication, entertainment, education, beauty, and the list is endless.

When you have identified a problem or need which you have a passion for, you must proceed to getting sufficient knowledge about solving it. this may be some hard work or cost you some weeks

rch that ought to be made. but when you are done and able to lunch your solution into the society, people will reward you for your time and hard-work by paying for the value you have created.

This is the sure path to becoming rich. it is by creating value and solving problems.

——–Chukwuemeka Michael Eze

Note: the above article does not intend in anyway to discourage people from having a job or going to school. It is for the very few who has questions on how to be rich.

Blessed is He Whom God Helps

IMG_20161118_081318.jpg

It’s about God not humans …..Long time ago there lived a great king and two beggars who always stood at the gate of his palace everyday.

As the king rode by everyday, the 1st beggar would say ‘blessed is he whom the king helps’ while the 2nd beggar would say ‘blessed is he whom God helps’.

The king always felt pleased to hear the praise of the 1st beggar.

One evening the king decided to reward the 1st beggar for all the praise; he ordered his baker to bake a cake and wrap precious stones inside the cake.

The next day as he rode by, he gave the cake to the 1st beggar as he hailed him as usual.

The 1st beggar who was in dire need of cash sold the cake to the 2nd beggar at next to nothing.

When the 2nd beggar cut open the cake he saw the precious stones, sold them and became a wealthy man.

He did not return back to the kings gate the next day.

As the king rode out of his palace the next day, he saw the 1st beggar still asking for alms and stopped to ask him if he ate the cake he gave him.

The 1st beggar replied and said no sir, I sold it to my friend who was here with me yesterday; I have not seen him today.

The king continued his journey, telling everybody he met saying it is true that blessed is he that God helps.

Our God is the all knowing God, HE has not forgotten you. HE is always just in time.

Have a blessed and creative day ahead!

Hope For Maiduguri

The most important aspect of warfare is the psychological and anyone who can win the psychological war will definitely win the physical combat. That was how Mao Tse Tsung and his little band of communists beat the Chinese national army back in the past. That was also how King George and Winston Churchill were able to rally Britain and all of Europe and were able to beat Hitler in world war II.
What boko haram is doing now to residents of Maiduguri and its environs is to defeat them psychologically. Else why throw fliers around warning of an impending attack? Did they announce to Gwoza residents before attacking their town? What of Bama? They know Maiduguri would be tough if not impossible so they are rallying their forces and discouraging the populace. Can boko haram muster 5000 men? I doubt it so they are looking for another way to win a battle that is otherwise impossible.
I advice everyone in Maiduguri or in anyway affiliated to it to be strong and courageous. Let’s all unite in prayer, trusting God to deliver the city and all in it. Let’s also make up our minds to fight if a push comes to a shove. If we decide defeat is not an option, Maiduguri will never fall to the insurgents. Vive la Maiduguri.

Ponder On This

Someone has written these beautiful words. Read and try to understand the deeper meaning of them.

1. Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a “steering wheel” that directs the right path throughout life.

2. Why is a car’s windshield so large & the rear view mirror so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, look ahead and move on.

3. Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes a few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.

4. All things in life are temporary. If they are going well, enjoy them, they will not last forever. If they are going wrong, don’t worry, they can’t last long either.

5. Old friends are gold! New friends are diamond! If you get a diamond, don’t forget the gold! To hold a diamond, you always need a base of gold!

6. Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, “Relax, sweetheart; it’s just a bend, not the end!”

7. When God solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when God doesn’t solve your problems, He has faith in YOUR abilities.

8. A blind person asked God: “Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?” He replied: “Yes, losing your vision!”

9. When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

10. Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles; it takes away today’s PEACE.

If you enjoyed this, please copy share it. It may brighten someone else’s day too.

NAHASH

NAHASH!

I wish I have a voice over this Nation like Baba Adeboye and Daddy Oyedepo and Papa Ayo Oritsejafor and Daddy Kumuyi and Daddy Okonkwo!

What will I do with it? I will raise it in a Trumpet call to the North, the South, the East and the West of the Land and summon THE BODY to meet me at the City Centre in Maiduguri on a set day, from sunrise to sun set, without police or soldiers on guard!

What will we gather for? To plead with Heaven for our Nation. To roll back the hordes of Hell and seal with Christ’s Eternal Blood the gates of Horror opened against our Land; To disconnect our Governmental Leaders from the hold of the powers of Darkness that have their minds in chains; to open the portals of Heaven for a rain off righteousness upon our Land!

“Nahash, king of the Ammonites came up, and encamped against Jabeshgilead…”

I Samuel 11:1

But Jabeshgiliead was too terrified to fight. So the people caine up with a resolution, They sent a powerful delegate to dialogue with Nahash and negotiate a honorable term of National surrender to that vicious being called Nahash! The situation was tense and critical. The Elders of jabeshgilead, the Men! said to Nahash:

We Surrender! We will serve you as slaves Please let us sign a pact to that effect! (vslb)

Hear the reply:

And Nahash the Ammorite answered, on this condition will I accept your surrender (vs 2)

What condition?

That I will pluck out the right eye of every one of you and lay it out before you and your God for a reproach upon Israel (vs 2)

The word Nahash means SERPENT! What is the serpent saying in Chibok? Or are we still pretending?

Confronted with this demonic proposal, the Elders of Jabeshgilead sent to Nahash, saying:

Give us seven days to send your message to our brethren in the south, in the west and in the east; our brethren in Lagos and in Port. Harcourt and Wairi and Ibadan and unto all the coasts of Israel; If no one rises for our help after seven days, then you can have our right eyes and carry them to the forest of Sambisafor an eternal reproach upon the Church of God in Nigeria and upon our Leaders! The message got to Gibeah and all the people lifted up their voices and cried! They were all alarmed! ‘Wow non 11sf.,

The message got to Gibeah and all the people lifted up their voices and cried! They were all alarmed! “How can this happen,” they said. But they remained in their comfort zone and preached nice and sad sermons on the case! They didn’t want to be involved in “politics”!

But Saul came from the farm and met everyone crying. He asked what happened and was told of the Boast of the Serpent! How he appeared on television and disdained the God of lsnael!

“Saul said, what aileth the people that they weep? And they told him the tidings of the men of

North Eastern Nigeria…”

(vs 5)

“And the spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, end his anger was kindled greatly.” (vs 6)

Some Reverend gentlemen are never angered by anything! They play it cool all the time, even when God weeps!

Saul’s anger was kindled! Then he did something completely strange! lie grabbed some bulls, killed them and cut them into pieces and tent all of the pieces by the hands of messengers to all the coasts of Israel saying: Whosoever come not forth after me and Samuel as we march on Maiduguri City Centre, that Christian man or woman is in big trouble!

That message went alt through the coasts of Israel like whirlwind and caught up with the message of terror earlier sent from Nahash and melted the fear of death from the peoples’ heart!

“And the fear of the Lord fell on the people, and they came out with one consent…” (vs 7)

Let our fathers callus out. Let them summon us to Maiduguri City Centre, and we shall be there! All of us—North, South, West and East!

It is those whom God has given the Voice that can call! Saul was newly anointed Leader over Israel when that incident happened. Samuel was the Prophet of God in the Land. They were the ones with the Voice of Summon to Summon!

Let our Fathers, our Leaders, the ones we have followed to do anything they had asked us to do in the past, let them call us now. We will follow them!

To where should they call us? To Maiduguri City Centre! Why Maiduguri instead of Redemption Camp or Canaan Land for example? Because for this purpose, Redemption camp, Canaan Land and other such places in the sonth are symbols of our corporate retreat in the face of Nahash’s challenge! For this purpose, theyare our fortified city of escape white the Nation bums!

And fear of the LORD fell npon3he-people and they came out with one consent”

Let us come out! Out to the field! Out to where Nahash is about to complete his 40 days and 40 nights of serpentine ranting against the God of our covenant!

About 330,000 people responded to the summon of the Spirit. And message was sentto Jabeshgilead:

“Tell our people at Jabeshgilead, Tomorrow, by THAT TIME THE SUN BE HOT YOUSHALL HAVE HELP! (vs 9)

When will we have help in the North East? Is it until the SERPENT, Nahash have our right eyes as eternal reproach upon the Church?!

“Then Mordecai answered Esther, Think not with yourself that you shall escape in Lagos or Port-Harcourt or

Warn or Ibadan or Enugu more then all the brethren in the North East For you altogether hold your peace AT THIS TIME, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the North-East and to our Nation and the people FROMANOTHER PLACE” Esther 4:13,14

It is for a time such as this that God places Leaders over his church. Let our Leaders callus now. Not just for what have happened and are happening, but for what MAY STILLHAPPEN if we don’t arise now!

“And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Anunonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together.

I Samuel 11:11

Let our Fathers call us out. We need their summon for us to arise. We need theft courage to make us stand. We need their voice to fire us! Just one day for a mighty cry to the True and Living God! One day to discomfit the hosts of Darknoss! ohe slay to let our Nation know that there is a God in Nigeria.

You are our Fathers, our Leaders at a time such as this. This generation will never forget your names, EITHER WAY!

Peace For Borno State

Today I learn something new I experienced love, not that I have not seen love or understood love or witness love or being loved, but today the love I felt is so deep. I was in Maiduguri when the insurgence in town started, am not in the town when the crisis escalated, I remember when visited the town in 2012 and I experience the 6:00pm to 6:00am curfew, it an adjustment in lifestyle. I do read about the killings, bombings that happen in the town, I do speak with people there on phone until when the ban the use of mobile phone, I do receive calls from people I know, they risk there life to travel to Damaturu Yobe state capital to call me (crying). They make sure they ask how am I doing hope am safe and am doing good in the peaceful sate of the caliphate (Sokoto), this morning a call woke me up from sleep, it was a strange number, I picked only for the caller to introduce himself as Jibo a next door neighbor in Maiduguri who regardless of the curfew in town was up early to go to Post Office are of Maiduguri from Old GRA to call me, after his call I cover myself with the blanket because I am not ready to get up, yet another unknown number called it was my brother he has to cover more distance than Jibo to call me. Both of them ask a question “hope you are ok, hope your safe”? this question still rings in my head as I write this, I can’t hold back tears from my eyes, this pure act of love, people risking their life to get up so early to call me in a peaceful town.
Borno state “the home of peace” as the slogan says has in recent time witness crisis and violence that has touched the life of all, I am writing this with a heavy heart (crying). I remember a city full of happy people who love one another regardless of religion or ethnicity. I remember a city so calm and quite where people go about their day to day life without fear of gun short or bomb explosion, who will have ever taught that Borno state of all state will experience such violence.
I schooled in Maiduguri at FGCM, a school that bring together students from all over Nigeria I made friends with people who hail from Borno to Lagos, to Cross Rivers, to Delta, to Oyo, Taraba to mention but a few states. I remember the famous Monday market which stood in the heart of the town, a market that brings traders and buyers from within and outside the nation, I remember the famous Sanda Kyarimi park a park that is full during festive period either Christmas or Sallah, Christians and Muslims goes to the park regardless of the celebration at the moment be it Christmas or Sallah. I remember the famous Jagol market we people go and buy electronics of all kind, the Baga fish market, the custom market, I remember Polo filed (thou the game of Polo is hardly played there, football has taken over, with driving lessons taught there), Wulari Police barrack market where you get roosted birds and fara (grasshoppers) what an ancient city of the Kaneem Borno empire an empire one of the oldest empire in Nigeria, . A town I loved.
God I come to you with your word, you said anything we ask in the name of your son you will grant it on to us, I ask that you restore peace back to Borno state, you said thousands will fall on our side they will not come near to us, you said we shall only observe with our eyes. God you are the father of or Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you honour your words more than your name, you said the battle is not ours but yours, so we hand over the battle to you, (unto us a son is born and a child is given he shall be called ………………. Immanuel “God with us”) as we are ready to celebrate salvation of mind in the birth of your son we ask that father you glorify yourself, we ask that you restore peace back to maid, not for our sake but for your name to be lifted high, for your kingdom to come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
I ask who ever read this to join me in prayers and also share to as many as possible. Borno the home of peace.
