There was an aged artist who lived in a small village. The man used to design beautiful artistic works to be sold at an attractive price

One day, a poor man among the villagers challenged the old man saying: You earn a lot of money from your handiwork but why don’t you assist indigent people in the village?

Cant you see the butcher who is not as rich as you are, but still shares free meat to the destitute people in the village.
Also, look at the village baker, a poor man with a large family, yet he gives the poor people free loaves of bread.

The artist did not respond angrily to the challenges, rather just smiled .

The poor man was so confused about the reaction of the artist so he left him and went out spreading rumors that the artist was so rich, but he was a stingy person who only accumulated wealth and refused to help less privileged. The entire villagers took vengeance, they broke away from the old artist man and they all forsook him.

In a mean time, the aged artist was sick but nobody among the villagers cared to visit him, therefore he died a lonely man.

The days passed by, the villagers observed that the butcher stopped free distribution of meat and the baker could not give the destitute people free loaves of bread any more, despite their continuous trooping to the bakery and their hope to have something to eat.

When both (the butcher and the baker) were asked the reason behind the sudden cut off of the welfare to the villagers, they said that: ” the elderly artist who used to donate a large sum of money every month to share free meat and loaves of bread to the poor people in the village has died, so the welfare has to stop.”

Actually, many people may have wrong impression about you while others may have different opinions, none of them could benefit nor harm your good intention.

Therefore, don’t pass judgment on any one based on his physical appearance. There are things about his personal life, if you were privileged to know, your judgement would surely be different.

For example, a man died at nightspot/ dance hall.

The other person died in the mosque/Church.

The first person entered the dance hall with intention to preach to them (against indecency)

The second person entered the mosque/Church to steal money or bags.

For this reason, you and I can not decide who enters heaven nor who enters hell-fire. Fear God in privacy and fear God in the open. Human physical appearance is a deception, therefore, forgive, pardon and ignore people’s iniquities. Pray for God’s guidance on erring people. Be good to everybody, don’t cut off your relationship with a person who does not please you. Establish unity and harmony with people, God will love you and people will love you too. The Lord Who created the souls, knows what the souls conceals.

I found this story very insightful and I think I should share

We Need To Turn A Blind Eye For Peace

In live we come across stories that bring great morals and lessons for life.

Today’s story holds a great lesson for all.

A man married a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. Slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour.

While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was not any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much.

One day she died. Her death brought him great sorrow.

He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town.

A man from behind called and said, now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you.

He replied, I am not blind. I was acting, because if she knew l could see her ugliness it would have pained her more than her disease. So I pretended to be blind. She was a very good wife. I only wanted to keep her happy.

Moral:- Some times it is good for us to act blind and ignore one another’s short comings, in order to be happy

No matter how many times the teeth bite the tongue, they still stay together in one mouth. That’s the spirit of FORGIVENESS. Even though the eyes don’t see each other, they see things together, blink simultaneously and cry together. That’s UNITY.” May God grant us all the spirit of forgiveness and togetherness.

  1. ”Alone, I can ‘Say’ but together, we can ‘talk’.
  2. “Alone, I can ‘Enjoy’ but together, we can celebrate

  3. ‘Alone, I can ‘Smile’ but together, we can ‘Laugh’.

That’s the BEAUTY of Human Relations. We are nothing without each other

The razor blade is sharp but can’t cut a tree; the axe is strong but can’t cut the hair.

MORALS: Everyone is important according to his/her purpose. Never look down on anyone unless you are admiring their shoes.

Father’s Day 2017

As 2017 father’s celebration comes up, i was struggling with what to post for two reasons
1. Having stayed without a father for the past 10 years (His memory still fresh to me).
2. Not been a father myself.

I was struggling with what to write about fathers, for the above reason. Having studied other fathers i can say this now.

Fatherhood is beyond fathering a child, to be a successful father you have to fully fill the three fold capacity of Prophets, priest and King.

As Prophet, you connect to the Almighty father and receive from him for your family, you see the future for your family, you provide a spiritual covering for them.

As Priest, you teach your family, you pronounce blessings over your family, you protect your family.

As King, you rule the family, provide for the family.

Without fulling operating in the three fold capacity, your no more than a sperm donor.

Fatherhood is a responsibility, it is a commitment which also last a life time.

Happy father’s day 2017

Who is Jesus? (The age long question)

jesus

The debate of who Jesus is or was (as others point) has been debate for as long as 2000+ years. There has been many conversations, interview, debate, argument as to the identity of Jesus. Most of such has ended in more confusion than answer to the question.

This post is an eye opener to those who are curious as to the identity of Jesus. This post will expose the reason the question has not been answered. (This post Is About the Identity of Jesus which as viewed by different people)

We will look at few class of humanity who are burden with the challenge of answering the question.

  1. Christians: In Christianity Jesus is part of the Trinity (Father, Son and Spirit) and he is the Son who is called Emmanuel (God with us). He came to this world and became the saviour of man-kind.
  2. Jews: In Judaism Jesus is there brother, the son of Joseph the carpenter, who grow up among them. They know his brothers and sisters. To them Jesus is there brother.
  3. Muslims: In Islam Jesus is a prophet sent by God. Islam believe God send Jesus as he sent other prophet thou Jesus was giving more grace and ability to perform special miracle. To them Jesus is a prophet.
  4. Atheists: To the atheist Jesus is another historic figure, who once lived on the planet earth. They regard not as a deity but as a historic personality.
  5. Other religions: In other religion Jesus is a great moral teacher.

Back to the question, WHO IS JESUS? The question that has plaque the human race for long. This the question that has gave others hope, others it results in wars, battles, disputed etc.

To successfully answer this question then the questioner and the provider of the answer must agree on which of the Jesus they want to know and they are explaining respectably.

When a Muslim ask an atheist or a Christian who is Jesus? Then for clarity and for easy answer is to explain to him as a Muslim you will tell him about JESUS THE PROPHET AND A CHRISTIAN YOU TALK TO HIM ABOUT JESUS THE SAVIOUR etc.

So to put an end to the long debate is to identify which Jesus you are asked. To know about:

Jesus the saviour THEN study the holy bible.

Jesus our brother THEN study the Jewish history.

Jesus the prophet THEN study the Quran.

Jesus the historic figure THEN study ancient history.

Jesus the great moral teacher THEN study other religious materials.

I hope this post will help bring an end to the misconception and understanding arising from the question WHO IS JESUS?

Blessed . . . in the Eyes of God

Blessed . . . in the Eyes of God

What is happiness? Ask 20 different people to answer that question, and you’ll probably get 20 different answers.

But for the citizen of the kingdom of heaven, the path to true happiness is the path of blessedness described by Jesus in Matthew 5:1 – 11.

As Matthew Henry points out, until you know what true happiness is, you will never discover God’s path to find it.

Walk With Matthew Henry
“Happiness is the thing people pretend to pursue. But most form a wrong notion of it and miss the way.

“The general opinion is: Blessed are those who are rich and honorable in the world, who spend their days in mirth and their years in pleasure.

“Jesus comes to correct this fundamental error and give us quite another notion of blessedness.

“However paradoxical his teaching may appear to those in the world, to those who are saved it is a rule of eternal truth and certainty by which we must shortly be judged.

“If this, therefore, be the beginning of Christ’s doctrine, the Christian’s duty must be to take his measure of happiness from those maxims, and to direct his life accordingly.”

Walk Closer to God
Would you consider yourself truly happy if your life were characterized by meekness . . . mercy . . . poverty in spirit . . . persecution?

You would if you had God’s perspective on happiness.

Given the chance, the world will offer you a bogus substitute — a happiness dependent on money, prestige or circumstances.
Christ says true happiness consists of none of these.

But you must decide. Which notion of blessedness will you build your life on today? How do you complete the sentence “Happiness is . . .”?
Matthew 5:3

Honesty Pays

I just saw this nice story with a wonderful lesson and thought to share it with u all, please enjoy:

An aging King realized that if he died he has no one to take over the throne. He decided to adopt a son.

He launched a competition and 10 boys made it to the top. The King said to them, “I have one last test and whoever comes top will become my adopted son and heir to my throne”.

He gave each boy a seed of corn and told them to take the seed home, plant and nurture it for 3 weeks. The 10 boys took their seeds and ran home to plant their seeds.

In one home, the boy and his parents were sad when the seed failed to sprout. The boy had done everything but he failed.

His friends advised him to buy a seed and plant it but his God fearing parents who had always taught him honesty refused.

The day came and the 10 boys went to the palace. All the 9 boys were successful.

The King went to each boy asking – “Is that what came out of the seed I gave you?” And each boy said “Yes, your majesty”. The King would nod and move down the line until the last boy in the line who was shaking with fear.

The King asked him – “What did you do with the seed I gave you?” The boy said “I planted it and cared for it your majesty but it failed to sprout.” The King went to the throne with the boy and said, “I gave these boys boiled seeds and a boiled seed cannot sprout.

If a King must have one quality, it must be honesty and only this boy passed the test.” We live in a society where people will do anything for success.

God sometimes does not give us things because He wants to teach us a lesson.

How many people out there have achieved success the wrong way? How many people send their children to expensive schools and build houses, buy expensive cars with stolen money?

How many people are occupying top positions yet they stole the certificates? How many people are successful out there at all costs?

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE CROWNED AS KINGS IN HEAVEN FOR BEING FAITHFUL UNTIL THE END? I PRAY THAT I BE FAITHFUL TILL THE END!!!

Please be faithful to God no matter what life throws at you, even if life gives you boiled seed.

I hope you can spare me your precious time to send this to ten people to be faithful in their Christian life.
