Type of Government

I saw this funny analogy of government around the world and taught it is worth sharing.

#SOCIALISM: You have two cows, and you give one to your neighbor.

#COMMUNISM: You have two cows, the government takes both and gives you milk.

#FASCISM: You have two cows, the government takes both and sells you milk.

#NAZISM: You have two cows, the government takes them and kills you.

#CAPITALISM: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a male. You multiply your cows and there is economic growth. You sell them, you retire and you live on your profits.

#MODERN_CAPITALISM: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a male. You multiply your cows and you buy those of your neighbors. Then your neighbors become your shepherds, you pay them in monkey currencies and they die poor.

#AMERICAN_SOCIETY: You have two cows, you sell one and you have to make the other one to produce milk like Four cows. By stress of producing beyond her capacity, she dies. You hire a consultant to understand this death.

#FRENCH_SOCIETY: You have two cows, you go on strike because you want a third cow.

#GERMAN_SOCIETY: You have two cows, you modify them so that they live 100 years, eat once a month and take care of themselves.

#CHINESE_SOCIETY: You have two cows, you sell milk to your compatriots and you produce plastic milk to export to the rest of the world. You become rich.

#BLACK_AFRICAN_SOCIETY: You have two cows, you eat them all in one month, and you dream that donors or the international community give you more cows. When that doesn’t happen, you go to religious houses and hope for miracle cows. You begin to fast days and nights without eating or drinking and continue to speak in all kind of tongue, so that the cows will fall from Heaven. At last You die in extreme poverty.

WHY WOMEN ARE SO SPECIAL . . . . . . (Tribute To My Mother)

Bst mum ever

This is a dedication to my mother, it’s a combination of what most mothers pass through and do everyday just to keep the home running. I have never remember when I don’t have what I need, she is always up early and sleep late. Here is a short story and is a combination of what most mothers pass through.

Mom and Dad were watching TV when Mom said, “I’m tired, and it’s getting late. I think I’ll go to bed.”

She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next days. Rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.

She then put some wet clothes in the dryer, put a load of clothes into the washer, ironed a shirt and secured a loose button.

She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer.

She watered the plants, emptied a wastebasket and hung up a towel to dry. She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom.

She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher, counted out some cash for the excursion and pulled a text book out from hiding under the chair. She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick list for the groceries. She put both near her bag. Mum then washed her face with 3 in 1 cleanser, put on her Night Solution & age fighting moisturizer, brushed and flossed her teeth and filed her nails.

Dad called out, “I thought you were going to bed.”

“I’m on my way,” she said. She put some water into the dog’s dish and put the cat outside, then made sure the doors were locked and the patio light was on. She looked in on each of the kids and turned out their bedside lamps and radios, hung up a shirt, threw some dirty socks into the hamper, and had a brief conversation with one of the kids who was still up doing homework.

In her own room, mom set the alarm; laid out clothing for the next day, straightened up the shoe rack. She added 3 things to her 6-most-important-things-to-do list. She said her prayers, and visualized the accomplishment of her goals. About that time, Dad turned off the TV and announced to no one in particular. “I’m going to bed.” And he did…without another thought. Yet she wakes up early in the morning to set breakfast and wake the children and make them ready for school and she herself get ready for work, go to work and go back home to repeat the above circle.

Anything extraordinary here? Wonder why women live longer…? ‘CAUSE THEY ARE MADE FOR THE LONG HAUL……. and they can’t die sooner, they still have things to do!!! (my mother live longer than my father {missing them both})

You are a phenomenal women…….God Bless ALL WOMEN!

WORDS FROM A FATHER TO A SON ABOUT MARRIAGE

WORDS FROM A FATHER TO A SON ABOUT MARRIAGE
1. My son, if you keep spending on a woman and she never asked you if you’re saving or investing, and she keeps enjoying the attention, don’t marry her.
2. My son, a woman could be a good wife to you, some could be a good mother to your children but if you’ve found a woman like a mother to you, your children and your family, please don’t let her go.
3. My son, don’t confine the position of your wife to the kitchen, where did you get that from? Even in our days, we had farm-lands where they worked every morning . . . that was our office.
4. My son, if I tell you that you’re the head of the house, don’t look at your pocket; look if you will see a smile on your wife’s face.
5. My son, if you want to have a long life, let your wife be in-charge of your salary, it will be difficult for her to spend it when she’s aware of the home needs and bills to pay but if it’s in your care, she will keep you asking even when all has been spent.
6. My son, don’t ever beat your woman, the pain in her body is nothing to be compared to the wound on her heart and that means you may be in trouble living with a wounded woman.
7. My son, now that you’re married, if you live a bachelor kind of life with your wife, you will soon be single again.
8. My son, in our days, we had many wives and many children because of our large farm-lands and many harvests, there are hardly any land for farming anymore, so embrace your woman closely.
9. My son, under the cocoa tree that I did meet your mother could be your eateries and restaurants of nowadays, but remember, the closet thing we did there was to embrace each other.
10. My son, don’t be carried away when you start making more money, instead of spending on those tiny legs that never knew how hard you worked to get it, spend it on that woman that stood by you all along.
11. My son, when I threw little stones or whistled at the window of your mother father’s house, to call her out, it was not for sex, it was because I missed her so much.
12. My son, remember, when you say your wife has changed, there could be something you’ve stopped doing too.
13. My son, your mother, Asake rode the bicycle with me before I bought that tortoise car outside there, any woman that won’t endure with you in your little beginning should not enjoy your riches.
14. My son, don’t compare your wife to any woman, there are ways she’s enduring you too and has she ever compared you to any man?
15. My son, there is this thing you people call feminism, well, if a woman claim to have equal right with you in the house, divide all the bills into two equal parts, take one part and ask her to start paying the other part.
16. My son, I met your mother a virgin and I took more yams to her father, if you don’t meet your wife a virgin, don’t blame her, what I didn’t tell you is that our women had prestige.
17. My son, I didn’t send your sisters to school because I was foolish like many to think a female child won’t extend my family name, please don’t make that mistake, the kind of female achievers I see nowadays has made the male-gender an ordinary tag.
18. My son, your mother have once locked up the cloth I was wearing and almost tore it because she was angry, I did not raise my hand to beat her because of a day like this, so that I can be proud to tell you that I never for once beat your mother.
19. My son, in our days, our women had more of natural beauty, though I wouldn’t lie to you, some had minor painting of their appellation mostly on their arms, the ones you people now call tattoo, but don’t forget that they didn’t expose any part of their body like your women of nowadays.
20. My son, your mother and I are not interested in what happens in your marriage, try to handle issues without always coming to us.
21. My son, remember I bought your mother’s first sewing machine for her, help your wife achieve her dreams just as you’re pursuing yours.
22. My son, don’t stop taking care of me and your mother, it’s a secret of growing old and having children to take care of you too.
23. My son, pray with your family, there is a tomorrow you don’t know, talk to God that knows everything, everyday

Rulers And Leaders

A Pharaoh ruled Egypt in the days of Moses. He was typically a Ruler, he was not a leader.

Leaders are different from Rulers. The tragedy of a NATION without a leader is exemplified by a country I once knew. None of many people who rose to power over that country ever thought of assuming such awesome position of authority and responsibility prior to their coming into power. It happened over night. They all accidentally came into power. Leaders never emerge accidentally!
Leaders are different from Rulers. You can rule without much thought, you can’t Lead without thinking. Rulers plunder a nation. They loot it, rob it, raid and ransack it and strip it bare to its bones! Not that Rulers are “bad” people, not that they don’t like their country. That is not why they ravage and devastate the nation they rule; But because such acts are exactly the nature of Rulership as opposed to Leadership!
A nation that is ruled rather than lead doesn’t leave one spot. It just stays put in the same old rots from generations to generations.
The truth is, any Jack from anywhere can become a Ruler. It doesn’t mean take time. It happens overnight, thoughtlessly and visionlessly! All you need to rule is a hard-heart with some measure of ruthlessness, loud voice, hard look, tough talk and plenty of lies and deception.
Leaders are different from Rulers. Very few can lead! To lead you have to be going some-where yourself! And that takes vision. The Leader has a vision of the people’s destiny. He inspires the people to reach for the corporate destiny as one entity.
Leader leads because he sees tomorrow! Rulers live exclusively inside today. Tomorrow doesn’t matter to them. They don’t have perspective. The “now” is all they see. Leaders see tomorrow inside of today. They have to because that is where they are headed with people they lead. They are on a journey to the people’s destiny.
The children of Israel couldn’t really get along well with God after He released them from Pharaoh’s strangle-hold. They were used to life under a Ruler, a ruler who just camped them in one giant prison called Egypt where their lives were lived in circle! Pharaoh wasn’t a leader, he was a Ruler. He wasn’t going anywhere. So those under him were stuck in the prison of static existence. And you know, a Nation can become a prison, a cage where the lives of the people are controlled by the Ruler. A Church can become a prison if what you have is a Ruler-Pastor rather than a leader!
Israel had been in the big cage for centuries. When the vision of God came, the people were called out unto a destiny journey. But it happened that they rather liked and preferred their static lives; that life where you don’t need to think, invent, invest, create, or do anything extra-ordinary to be alive; a flabby contentment with just the barest minimum.
Without a Leader, the people’s huge potential for national and global impact will continue to lie in waste beneath their pittance exterior! Rulers don’t take a nation anywhere. They themselves have nowhere they are going; and somebody going nowhere cannot take a people somewhere.
For the length of time it takes a Nation to have a leader over it, that is how long it will take for the Nation to move forward in the direction of its destiny. Rulers don’t bend, but Leaders follows the Inside-Light in the course of destiny whichever way it turns! And the people follow suit.
The Ruler uses force, and power, and wiles and lies. Vision and passions are strength of the leader. Rulers loot and are happy! A people come into their destiny is the Leader’s reward and joy. For the Ruler, his access to the peoples’ wealth and his unauthorized use of it bring satisfaction in the corporate progress the people make towards their destiny. His access to the people’s hearth is to him a sacred trust he must protect at all cost! The Ruler takes from the people much more than he gives them. The Leader gives all and asks for nothing! He creates and conserves sovereign wealth!
The Ruler turns common wealth into private property. The Leader take from his God-given internal wealth of wisdom, passion and vision, and from them create for the people a common wealth constituted from the raw materials of national endowment. Those who know the nature of Rulership don’t quarrel with the Ruler or grumble or lament when the rulers act. None of us can give what we don’t have. Rulers have no vision. They can’t lead.
The fault is not with the Ruler who is not leading! By nature Rulers can’t lead. They can only loot! The real fault is with a people, a nation who NEEDS A LEADER but continues to put its destiny in the hands of Rulers!
Under what condition do a people, a Nation keep their errors constant? Errors should be corrected and prevented from occurring again. But under certain self-inflicted circumstances, a people keep repeating their errors.
What are this conditions?
One, When ethnic sentiments predominate over reasoned national consideration.
Two, When religious sentiment and affiliation makes men call good evil and evil good.
Three, When a people do not know the scared call and destiny of its Nation.

Good God, deliver us from perpetuating our errors! And our own woes.
Amen.
