Great Mysteries of the World

My Good Time Stories

Over the course of time, the civilization of man has always had great questions that they sometimes spent years and years to try to solve those mysteries. How can man fly like a bird? They invented the airplane. Could they discover a way to light up a room without a candle? The light bulb was invented. How cool would it have been to our ancestors to go to the moon? The rocket ship was created. The list goes on and on and on.

Unfortunately, mankind still has a plethora of other great unsolved mysteries that may never be resolved. These are the problems that inquisitive minds want to know the answer to…but may never know!

Here we go…

Why doesn’t Tarzan have a beard?

Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are flat?

Why do banks charge a…

The Popular Scavengers now, a Famous Gold Miner

vulture.jpg

Hi everyone (Great Minds), as we begin this weekend i will like to share this with you a discussion my brother “Philip Gana Malgwi (Philmalgwi)” started in a whatsapp group about looking at another side of the coin when things don’t seems to go well.

Topic: “The Popular Scavengers now, a Famous Gold Miner”*

The only thing am going to say here is popularity and fame are synonymous but believe me the latter worth much.

Great people are famous while anyone can be popular.

What makes you popular and has yielded results for you turns you up to being famous said one of my great Mentor and friend.

We all know vultures as scavengers… My questions is… Can’t it kill it’s own prey? Why do other animals have to finish it up before it arrives?

Why do other animals run move away from it?

Do you know that the presence of vultures hovering around a particular place signifies it has “identified” something to eat?

Looking at the situation of the country…

I saw FRSC commission list of candidates eligible after screening for the CBT aptitude…

I marvelled.

#diversion

I have seen how many of my peers in anger and frustration of certain Expectations from the government insult and post comments on their social media handles.

(Am mute about that)..

Back to out discussion..

Do you know the vulture never stayed Hungry? Even whilst it’s being seen as a scavenger?

You can find possibilities amidst difficulties.

My friend Michael Ozioma from Delta state today is an academician… Who has brought out a venture to educate, inform and build entrepreneur through provision of real estate and other. How did he start?

We served in Ibadan. Housing was an issue. That became his concern.

“Pains and passion yields up a desire to act.”

If you feel pained by the government or issue around you… You have a calling there.

Then passion aligns you move along the path.

The great gold miner story.

Who has been to a typical slum in this country? A waste or refuse field where every waste from city like Lagos, Kano is being disposed?

You find young boys scavenging around for aluminum, steel, and other things right?

There was once upon a time a scavenger who lived thus…

Going through refuse in slums to get things to clean and sale.

One day the government chase them out to an outskirts land.

People run away from them… Avoided them just like the vulture and had given them names… Making the guy a “popular scavenger”

😁 Funny right?

What are you popular for/at?

#Reflect and ponder!

If nothing he’s better… 😁 Yea.

At least he cared about being “responsible” and to fend for himself.

One day after a long time scavenging the young man refused to sleep and walk down the vast land…

And he thought why not just dig a pit to be pouring all those waste than let them litter around him.

“Pathfinder in destiny”

#pain and passion

#Reflect and ponder

#identify and discover

#take action

He called his friends told them about it, they started digging and at each point one will leave.

3’fts to a great (unknown) treasure they all set back.

He came back ponder.. dig and re-dig… Don’t give up.

He went back and he’s friend came along. This time they continued and before the day ends…

He’s friends gave up and left him… He followed After… But he had gone back to the city (leaving his friend at the outskirts)

By evening when the sun was setting… He saw some reflection From the wall side of the pit… That was a great gold deposit.

Conclusion…

The whole city had of that and run coming to him…
