Seven Habits to Completely Avoid in 2018.

chaneg-2

I was looking at 2017 and taking evaluation of the year and how to make amends for 2018.

I come across a video by Daniel Ally and he is talking about seven (7) habits to completely avoid, so I picked out his seven points to shear with you.

1. Comment searching.

This when we go through the comments on social media post before we make our own comments. Mostly when we do this we are looking for negative comments and at the end we lost our own opinion we are influenced by the comment we read. Comments searching rob us of our originality and creativity.

2. Impulse buying.

This is when we buy things based on impulse rather than need (or even want). When ever you see something and you just want to buy it without deep taught is not good. This is not to discourage you about buying things for yourself, we need to buy good things we need and spend on yourself.

Next time before you buy anything find out if it is what you need or want.

3. Over eating.

Over eating kills your productivity and on a spiritual level dulls your spiritual sensitivity. Like Daniel Ally say “must people that over eat are doing so because of what they miss in childhood”.

Learn a good eating habit of healthy food. I will suggest this eat a big healthy breakfast then a small lunch (if necessary) then a light dinner.

4.  Lust

Lust is a desire to have something without waiting for the right time. Lust can manifest in many forms is not necessary sexual in nature, it can be material lust and others.

Lust takes focus out of our lives, when you drive by lust your life will not productive.

The world now has many suggestion that triggers lust especially via social media, I want to advice that next time you’re tempted to lust, instead of giving it a second look or taught direct your mind towards a set goal in your life and remain focus.

5. Gossip

Every day and everywhere people talk about people. Must time we gossip unconsciously without taught to it.

Must of our discussion with others is about other, but what is been discussed is what make it out as a gossip or not, next time your engaged in discussion about another, take your time to assess the discussion if its healthy or harmful, true or false, productive or unproductive , positive or negative.

Must time people gossip about other because we never confront them, so next simple confrontation such as can we talk about another thing please can help stop gossip.

6. Drugs

Drugs or substance abuse is one of the greatest ills of our generation, must of the youth and some of the aged are addict to some sort of substance. Drugs is not just about crack, marijuana e.t.c. it is a wide range of substance, ranging from nicotine to alcohol. Tobacco smoking, drinking. I will encourage you to look deep into your mind and identify your addiction and change it ton something positive.

7. Drifting

Drifting is letting time pass by without you actually accomplishing anything. Must time in our busyness we let a lot of time drift by without doing anything meaning full.

I will encourage you to try and a lot more with your time, you can write a book, you can compose song, music, poems, write a play, a drama or script even a movie.

During those quite time at work or school, while on transit or taking a walk you can accomplish a lot of things.

This are not just the only things to avoid but this are few out of then many, this post might be an eye opener to other habits that you need to change.

Happy new year in advance.
