A group of alumni (past students), highly established in their careers, agreed together to visit their old university Professor.
Conversations soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and brought a large pot of coffee with an assortment of cups. (porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite). Then, he told them to help themselves to the coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said:
“If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink.
What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups… And then you began eyeing each other’s cups.
Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups.
They are just tools to hold and contain life. The type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of life we live.
Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us.”
God “brews” the coffee, not the cups………. Enjoy your coffee!
MORAL TO BE LEARNT
“The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.” Live simply and be generous. Care deeply. Speak truthfully and kindly, work hard. Be yourself. Be wise. Pray and leave the rest to GOD…. He is sufficient for us.
When someone comes and tells you, “I can’t sleep without you, I love you the way you are and I can put up with your good and bad attitude”, before you commit your heart please, *GIVE IT TIME*.
When You just met someone today and feel like marrying him/her tomorrow, before you do remember you need to *GIVE IT TIME*.
When you visit your uncle and you will stay there for two months holiday, don’t be carried away that they serve you your preferred food and give you hot water to bath during your first two days and you start making arrangement to relocate to their house, *GIVE IT TIME*.
When a brother visits you and wakes you up by his shouting of prayer from 12 am to 6 am, please don’t shut him down, first *GIVE IT TIME*.
When someone joins your fellowship in the first year and he is in every group/wing, please don’t rush and make him a leader rather *GIVE IT TIME*.
When you enter a new environment and everybody worships you and eat your mess don’t be carried away just *GIVE IT TIME*.
When someone comes with a new business with unbelievable promises, please before you involve your money, first *GIVE IT TIME*.
When you see a new church in town and you hear their waves, before you conclude about how hot they are, first *GIVE IT TIME*.
Finally, when you are in a cross road of decisions, you don’t know what to do, ask the people or person involved to please *GIVE YOU TIME*.
The wise priest in the Bible in Acts told them to leave Peter and John, rather, give them time.
You can be good in giving people tests and trying out who they are.
Some people know how to pass them all but the test of time they fail.
_Time tests Love and proves it._
_Time tests businesses and authenticates it._
_Time tests spirituality and reveals it._
_Time tests friendship and uncover true friend_
Time, a good tester.
Don’t say that the utilities in your area is now the best until you have *GIVEN IT TIME*.
Your uncle or Father told You that you are useless and worthless and can’t amount to anything, just laugh it away and ask them to *GIVE YOU TIME*.

When we are starting to have sex no one alerts us that having sex comes along with a number of responsibilities and its not about only getting laid .The number one reason why we are not winning against AIDS lately is that most times people are often cheered to break their virginity or get involved with more than one partner or give up on abstinence with out putting much thought on the decision but only for the short lived pleasure it brings along.
Condoms.No one traps any mature person into having sex okay apart from the rape cases so if you are the person who sets your sex desires loose have the audacity to protect yourself and save the world the drama that comes along with unprotected sex.At least be like my friend whose only reason to protect himself during sex is because he believes he cant not raise money…

In a forest, a pregnant deer is about to give birth. She finds a remote grass field near a strong-flowing river.
This seems a safe place.
Suddenly labour pains begin.
At the same moment, dark clouds gather around above and lightning starts a forest fire.
She looks to her left and sees a hunter with his bow extended pointing at her. To her right, she spots a hungry lion approaching her.
What can the pregnant deer do? Remember she is in labour!!
What will happen?
Will the deer survive?
Will she give birth to a fawn?
Will the fawn survive?
Or will everything be burnt by the forest fire?
Will she perish to the hunters’ arrow?
Will she die a horrible death at the hands of the hungry lion approaching her?
She is constrained by the fire on the one side and the flowing river on the other and boxed in by her natural predators.
What does she do?
She focuses on giving birth to a new life.
The sequence of events that follows are:
– lightning strikes and blinds the hunter.
– he (the hunter) releases the arrow which zips past the deer and strikes the hungry lion.
– it starts to rain heavily and the forest fire is slowly doused by the rain.
– the deer gives birth to a healthy fawn.
Check the circumstances that took place above and ask yourself whether the deer has any influence in the chain of reactions that took place to her enemies right in front of her very eyes.
In our life too, there are moments of choice when we are confronted on αll sides with negative thoughts and possibilities. What we must not do is take our eyes off the ball. We must remain focused on the issue at hand.
Some thoughts are so powerful that they overcome us and overwhelm us.
Maybe we can learn something from the deer.
The priority of the deer, in that given moment was simply to give birth to a baby.The rest was not in her hands and any action or reaction that changed her focus would have likely resulted in death or disaster.
Ask yourself:
Where is my focus?
Where is my faith and hope?
In the midst of any storm, do keep faith in the Creator always. He will never ever dissapoint you. NEVER.
Remember, He neither slumbers nor sleeps!! The strong person knows how to keep their life in order. Even with tears in their eyes, they still manage to say “I’m ok” with a smile.
I send this to you because you are a strong person. That was why God heard your prayers and said hard times are over. If you believe in Him share this to all the people that matter in your life.
Be honest and send this to anyone who makes you smile. I like you and I’m sending this to you because you make me smile!!

This is a very interesting story and a lesson for men.

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighbouring kingdom.
The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur’s youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.
The question was:
*What do women really want?*
Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man. And to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch’s proposition to have an answer by year’s end.
He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men, and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.
Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer. But the price would be high as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.
The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but first he would have to agree to her price.
The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table, and Arthur’s closest friend. Young Arthur was horrified.
She was hunch-backed and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc.
He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life. He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden.
But Lancelot, having learnt of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur’s life. And the reservation of the Round Table. Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered.
Arthur’s question thus:
“What a woman really wants?”
She said, “A woman wants to be in charge of her own life.”
Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth, and that Arthur’s life would be spared. And so it was. The neighbouring monarch granted Arthur his freedom. And Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.
The honeymoon hour approached and, Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him.
The most beautiful woman he had ever seen was sitting by the bed.
The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened. The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth become her horrible and deformed self only half the time, and be the beautiful maiden the other half.
“Which would you prefer?” She asked him. “BEAUTIFUL during the DAY… OR at NIGHT?”
Lancelot pondered the predicament.
During the day, he could have a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch!
OR,
would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day? But by night a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous moments with?
(If you are a man reading this) What would YOUR choice be?
(If you are a woman reading this) What would YOUR MAN’S choice be?
And Lancelot’s choice is given below…

Knowing the answer the witch gave to Arthur for his question, Sir Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.
Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time, because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.
Now, what is the moral to this
The moral is…
1. There is a ‘witch’ in every woman, no matter how beautiful she is. It’s how a man manages it
2. If you let a woman decide on her own she gives u d best. but if u force her with ur decisions she becomes a witch.
Hmmmm

Dear young lady,
Why do you think your calling is to be a model just because you are slim and some randy brothers in your neighborhood told you how ‘pretty’ you are? And you aunty, why do you think you must be a makeup artist and tie gele? Are you sure it’s not because of your laziness?
Please why do these girls scatter their legs while taking pictures? And your mouth, why is it twisted to one side?
Sincerely, if you can’t answer any of these, you are part of the problem.
Some of you even put ears of rabbit and mouth of dogs and carry some funny thing on your head while on snapchat. What’s that? That is the most insanely stupid thing I have ever seen.
Sorry I came in harsh. How else do I get your attention if I don’t finger your brain?
The female gender is smarter than the male counterpart but they don’t realise. A lady can handle a surgery, change diapers and at the same time be on the phone teaching somebody how to deactivate a C4 bomb. They are made to handle pressure, multi task and effectively manage people and resources.
Sadly you have turned yourself to an object of sex and a victim of trend.
Dear lady, Why do you watch telemundo everyday, but you can’t read a book in two years?
Dear lady, why do u spend a fortune on bleaching cream?
Why is indomie the only food you can cook?
Dear young lady, your only work experience is the different sex positions you had with bro Femi, Kunle, Anthony, Moses, Ayo, kasali and others. Why now?
Dear lady, who told you being sexy makes you a wife material? Who also told you that all your life’s problem are over once you get married to a rich guy?
Most annoyingly, why do you leave an amazing guy for a fine and rich guy? The former has a future the latter has a car.
Anyways I don’t like dancing around the problem. Here are few lessons.
1. Your body is your temple. Don’t open it for any dogs to feed on.
2. You can do anything a man can do.
3. You can be pretty, but being intelligent makes you prettier.
4. Bad boys are fun, but you can’t change them.
5. When someone shows you who they are, believe them the very first time.
6. Love yourself even more than a man can.
7. Watch how a man treats his mother, most likely he’ll treat you the same.
8. The internet can harm you just as much as it can help you.
9. You need God as much you think your man should fear God
