5 PACKING TIPS FOR THE ULTIMATE ROAD TRIP ADVENTURE CALLS. PACK LIGHT

1. ONLY TAKE THE ESSENTIALS
It’s all too easy to pack things you just don’t need. Think back to your last couple of trips; which items never once left your bag between packing and arriving back home? Remember that mix-and-match layers offer flexibility—and don’t forget to pack for the weather.

2. USE SPACE WISELY
Packing a spare pair of shoes? Then use them to store your socks and underwear. You might even have space to cram a watch or belt in there too.

3. ROLL YOUR CLOTHES
Get out of the folding habit. Rolling clothes rather than folding stops them creasing and creates more space. Try wrapping your gear around a central core object, such as a pouch or wash bag. And try to roll everything as tightly as possible to stop things from wrinkling.

4. DITCH THE CASE
Hard rigid cases are a no-no. A soft bag will slot easily into your trunk and mold around other items without eating up precious space.

5. TRY NOT TO FILL YOUR BAG
It’s tempting to use every spare inch of your packing space, but leave a little space for that ‘I ❤ Chicago’ tee and a few bottles of the local brew; you’ll be glad you did on the return leg.

Are You REALLY Thankful?

My Good Time Stories

Every once in a while, I come across a short story or illustration that reminds me of things that I may have forgotten…such was the case when I found this brief tale. It made me remember really how fortunate that I am and how important it is to always give thanks and be thankful!

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.

My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, ‘This Is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are Received.’

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the…

Jesus Makes Our Life Complete

Interesting read !

Mathematicians say LIFE is like a line segment drawn from point B to point D.
What is point B to point D?
It’s from point of Birth(B) to point of Death(D).
So life starts from the moment we are Born(B) until the day we Die(D).

But in the middle of B(Birth) and D(Death) is a mysterious C.
What is C then?It is CHRIST.
If we put Christ in the middle of our life(Birth—>Christ—>Death) our life will not end at D but extend to E.
What is E? It’s Eternal Life.
So all those who put Christ in the middle of their life hav Eternal life after Death
But those who do not put Christ in the middle of their life don’t have Eternal life after Death but they hav F(Fire).

Definition of Life For Christians:

B——->C——->D——->E
Birth Christ Death Eternal Life

Definition Of Life For Unbelievers:

B——->D——->F
Birth Death Fire

Any one that avoids C must surely lose E

Two Ways to Go

My Good Time Stories

As most of you know, I am not only a teacher but I am also a coach. I played three sports in high school and college and still enjoy playing softball every week. I have coached at least two sports a year for the past 29 years and have enjoyed doing so almost every minute.

Everyone has a person or a few people, that they have been fortunate enough to be a part of their life and today, I have asked a coach and friend of mine since I was in high school, if I could post some thoughts of his that he wrote for the Easter season. So, without further adieu, here are the words from Coach Mo…a man who had a great impact on my life…more than he will ever know.

“And to this people you shall say: ‘Thus says the…

Always Wear Undewear In Public

A good story can always brighten up your day…..

Always wear underwear in public, especially when working under your vehicle. A story was posted in a newspaper a while ago of a Brisbane couple who drove their car to a shopping center, only to have their car break down in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with her shopping while he fixed the car.

The wife returned a while later to see a small group of people gathered near her car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of hairy legs protruding from under the chassis.

Unfortunately, although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants turned his private parts into glaringly public ones. Unable to stand the embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward and quickly put her hand up his shorts, and tucked everything back into place.

On regaining her feet, she looked across the roof of he car and found herself staring at her husband who was standing idly by watching.

The car mechanic however, had to have three stitches in his forehead.
