You can’t control what other people think about you, but its your responsibility to control your own internal environment by keeping positive thoughts about yourself. Whatever negative things the next person says or thinks of you have no power over your life unless you allow them. Consciously choose to think and meditate on things that build you as a person, things that inspire you and edify you, and things that will make you a better person. In a long run your thoughts influence your self-belief, which will in turn influence your performance in whatever you do.
“…Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise” Phil 4:8
